Here's a set of training slides I put together for the CISSP networks & telecomms (domain 7) component. I'm using these to present to the InfoSec Group of Africa CISSP study group. I'm not a CISSP, but I know networks. While half the content is mine, the other half is stolen from many many places. It was all done in a hurry too. If you can improve them and promise to send changes back, I'll send you the source.

09/11/2008 10:17:29 AMJust a comments re. your DMZ bullet "During trench warfare it was the area between the two trenches – bad metaphor". It's even worse than that, the DMZ in military terms is the zone between two adversaries where there's no military activity at all. The area between two trenches is called no man's land.

09/11/2008 12:43:07 PMIt's ironic because the Internet should be no man's land, the DMZ the trench full of soldiers :)
