I took delivery of the first car I've ever bought today. It is a 'Spirited Green' Mazda 2 1.5 Dynamic, which I have named 'Kuluhlaza' or 'Green' in Zulu. I've never really cared for cars, but both the research and excitement of actually getting it are slowly (very slowly) turning me into a car buff.

Dominic, the picture for this entry is not being displayed... Can you fix? I want to see you pretty car :P Also if you are interested in becoming interested in Cars and enjoy humour might I recommend Top Gear, funny funny stuff and awesome cars!

Congratulations Dominic. Now that the Mazda 2 has won SA Car of the Year -- and International COTY, you probably feel justified in your purchase. I have personally owned and driven no less than 5 Mazdas in the past 15 years and currently on my sixth.

For sure, although I don't know why people keep mis-reporting this. Mazda owners won 'drivers of the year', and 'car of the year' was just handed out by default ;)
