This is one of the reasons why I'm not catholic (Thamsanqa takes an unnecessary stab) :P. No but on a serious matter, has God said anything to you about this or are you relying on other people's convictions (even if its a Pope someone or the other or the entire catholic church) to forumalate your position?
Sorry my spelling and grammar is very bad in the last post (as usual). I hope the question makes sense though :S.
p.s. I hate s9y's spam blocker. But it can't stop those with more than one IP add and name allocated to them :P.

Dominic and I had a little chat. We have an understanding.
You haven't read the links have you? Not that I am expecting to convert you, this was a list of reference for people who already believe to rebut the creationists.
I haven't prayed specifically over this issue, but be careful not to throw reason and critical analysis out the window, it can also provide insight.
I will pray about it, but frankly the "works", to coin your lingo, of the debate have shown it has far more influence from the devil than many of the Christians involved realise. The answer provided by Popes John Paul and Pius make sense from both a theological, philisophical and conflict resolution perspective, you don't need to be a Catholic to appreciate the well argued common sense view.
Thanks for the answer. My question wasn't concerned about the content provided in your links. I was just asking on what in this particular instance do you base your convictions (if any). However, through my filtering skills I have found the answer in there somewhere :) .
I've met many a Christian ((myself included) who base aspects of their walk on other people's convictions which I beleive is not how Christianity is meant to be. That was the intent behind my enquiry.

The categories sidebar plugin got stuffed during my recent blog upgrade. Not sure why, it isn't working for now.
