Politics I was interested to see how much my political views had changed since I last took this test in November 2004. This is also an example of why the signal to noise ratio on blogs is so horrid.

Then my results were:

Economic Left/Right: -7.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.08

and now they are:

Economic Left/Right: -6.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.64

So it seems I have shifted a bit from the left and become slightly more libertarian, interesting. My biggest political influence this year has been a near conversion to Catholicism (I am still mulling this over), which might explain the slight shift to the right, but the shift towards libertarian is strange. I blame myself for putting too much truck in such a short test which tries to guage something as complex as political alignment. Anyway, it is nice to still be sitting occupying the moral high ground somewhere between Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Llama. Ha!
